Carrying June

Ik vind jou lief (I love you, in Dutch)

6th of January 2025 (Three Kings is a day celebrated in Spain where there’s a big children’s feast)
Dear Kaleb ,
When I look at your picture I just dont have any words for how much I miss you. Your smile, your voice, your physical presence. Everything is different and empty without you. I dont know how to continue…without you physically present here.
I can not believe that this all happened to you and our family. Just like that, a bad tumor in your head…
When you flew off to heaven, my world fell apart. It stopped. I so badly want to have you close to me. Here, together with your sister Eden with us in the living room, playing, probably you doing some homework, which you loved to do. Taking bike rides together, now that Eden learned how to ride the bike too.
You are now with our Lord Jesus. You have a new body, your own body, but without limitations! In a short while we will see each other again. I can hardly imagine.
Lord, help me to imagine our reunion. I love you, boefie.
You are always in my heart.
Sweet, beautiful, amazing child.
Your mama.
